On Wednesday night, the CVCA volleyball team took on Buchtel in the OHSAA Sectional final. The Royals were able to make quick work of the Griffins. They won 3 straight sets without allowing Buchtel to reach double digit points in any of them. Leading the way were Regan Nickol (17 assists, 4 kills) and Mary Kate Harmody (11 kills, 2 blocks). With the win, CVCA advances to face Tallmadge in the District Semi-final. That game will be played on Tuesday, October 25th at 5:30pm at Tallmadge High School.
