CVCA hosted Fairless in the OHSAA Sectional Final on Thursday night. The Royals are the #1 seed in the Medina District and will have home field advantage until the District Final. The girls were able to win their 6th game at Royals Stadium this year. They defeated the Falcons 5-0 and advanced to the District Semi-final on Monday, October 24th. CVCA will host Coventry at 7pm. These two teams met earlier in the year in a game CVCA won 9-1.

Kenzie Spodnik scored early to give the Royals a 1-0 lead, and they would not look back from there. Jaya Wilson added a goal and Amanda Winquist scored the final three for CVCA. Toni Costa picked up two assists on the night and Kenzie Spodnik added one. CVCA registred 29 shots on the night. They now stand 11-2-1 on the season.
