The Royals were riding high after Friday night's overtime win over Mentor, and ready fo rmore action. So ready, that a few inches of snow in Royals Stadium wasn't going to postpone a Saturday afternoon matchup with Canton Central Catholic. Parents, players, and coaches all pitched in the clear the field of snow. By game time, the field was clear, the sun was out, and CVCA was ready to play. The Royals kept the momentum going on their way to a 12-7 over CCC.

Mitch Gilley led the Royals with 5 goals and 4 assists. Sophomore
Ryan O'Connor added 4 goals and 1 assist. Junior
Noah DeSousa scored twice and assisted on 3 goals for the home team. Junior
Kade Kalinowski rounded out the scoring for CVCA. In goal, Junior
Jay Woodlee tallied 13 saves including 5 in the 4th quarter.
The boys will be back in action on Wednesday, April 13th when they host Olmsted Falls. Varsity game at 7pm, JV at 5:30pm.
