The boys lacrosse team hosted Hoban on Saturday. Both teams entered the game playing really well lately. This was sure to be a great matchup of Akron area schools. CVCA defended their home field in a big way on their way to a 12-4 victory. The win is the 6th straight for the Royals.
CVCA jumped out to an early 5-1 lead after the first quarter. More of the same followed in the final 3 periods and this game was all Royals. The CVCA defense played a great game. Goalie

Nathan Dietrich snagged 11 groundballs on the afternoon.
Mitch Gilley led the offense with 5 goals and 1 assist.
Jack Atwood scored once and assisted twice.
Ryan O'Connor had 4 goals and 2 assists for CVCA.
Noah DeSousa added 3 assists and
Kade Kalinowski also had an assist.
The Royals will look to stay hot when they travel to Cardinal Mooney on Tuesday, April 26th.
