The boys lacrosse team traveled to Youngstown to face Cardinal Mooney on Tuesday. The Royals were looking to extend their win streak to 7. They took a 1-0 lead just 6 seconds into the first quarter. CVCA would score 5 goals in each of the first 3 quarters on their way to a 16-9 win. The boys have now won 7 straight games and are 8-1 on the season.

Mitch Gilley scored 5 goals and recorded 2 assists. Noah DeSousa also scored 5 goals for the visiting Royals. Daniel DiBlasi and Ryan O'Connor added 2 goals and 1 assist each. Kade Kalinowski scored once and assisted 4 times and Jack Atwood assisted twice and grabbed 11 ground balls. Goalie Jay Woodlee tallied 9 saves on the night.

The boys will return to action on Saturday, April 30th. They will play host to Gilmour Academy at 5pm. JV at 3pm.
