Wednesday night was senior night for the boys lacrosse team as they hosted Brecksville-Broadview Heights. Four seniors and their parents were recognized for the contributions to the programs. This year's seniors are
Nate Loxley,
Matt Greenwood,
Sotere Karas, and
Max Prentis. The Royals were set on send the seniors out on a high note and they backed it up on this night. After falling behind 3-2, CVCA regrouped and responded in the last 3 quarters of this game. When the final second ticked off the clock, the score was 11-5 in favor of the Royals. The boys finished the regular season a perfect 9-0 at Royals Stadium.
Mitch Gilley scored 4 goals for CVCA.
Noah DeSousa added 3 goals.
Ryan O'Connor scored twice and assisted once.
Jack Atwood won 16 of 18 faceoffs on the night and added 1 goal and 1 assists for the Royals.
Daniel DiBlasi added 1 goal and 3 assists. Goalie
Jay Woodlee tallied 12 saves.
The boys will face Riverside on Friday, May 13th in the final game of the regular season.
