On Thursday night, CVCA hosted Wooster in Ohio High School Lacrosse Association's State Tournament. Both teams are a part of the Division II Northwest Region along with 16 other schools. These two teams met earlier in the regular season on May 4th. The Generals hosted that game and won by a score of 12-10. The Royals were looking to respond and win this postseason matchup with Wooster.  This game proved to be a close hard fought battle very similar to the previous one. CVCA trailed by 2 goals at the half, but would never give up. They played hard to the very end. When the final second ticked off the clock, Wooster had earned a 10-8 victory.

The loss ends a terrific season for the Royals. One that saw them lose just 3 games all year long. It also included a very impressive 9 game winning streak and 14 games in which they scored 10 or more goals. The boys finished the season 9-1 at home. CVCA will look to build off this season's success in 2017.
