The Royals hosted Northwest (Canal Fulton) on Monday September 12th.  Toni Costa opened the scoring after receiving a strong, crossing pass from Amanda Winquist early in contest. In the 5th minute, Amanda Winquist hit a shot in to the back right corner of the goal making the score 2-0. CVCA held the 2-0 advantage through halftime. In the 48th minute, Sarah Tomich kicked in a rebound to make the score 3-0. She followed that up with another goal in the 50th minute pushing the score to 4-0.  In the 53rd minute, Amanda Winquist got free again and buried a shot in the goal making the score 5-0.  Less than one minute later, Toni Costa scored off a corner kick to make the score 6-0.  The final goal of the match came from Melanie Critzer, who took a 20 yard shot that found the back of the goal. Final Score: CVCA 7 - Northwest 0.  Goalkeeper Anna Mitchell had 3 saves.
