The Royals hosted the defending State Champions of Archbishop Hoban on Saturday night. CVCA opened the scoring in the 10th minute of the match when Amanda Winquist made a move towards goal and found a free running Jaya Wilson. Wilson received the ball and delivered a shot to the back of the goal. The Royals wouldn't stop there. Amanda Winquist increased the lead with goals in the 25th and 31st minute.  CVCA controlled the first half and led 3-0 at the break. In the second half, Amanda Winquist followed up a rebounded shot off the goalkeeper and buried it in the back of the net for a 4-0 lead. The Royals defense of Sarah Tomich, Emily Hansen, Alana Reske, Kate Capper, McKenna Miller and Anna Mitchell kept the Knights attack at bay. For the 3rd time this season Amanda Winquist netted a hat trick. Final Score: CVCA 4 - Hoban 0
