The CVCA Boys Lacrosse team opened up their 2017 season with a home game on Saturday. The Royals hosted the Green Wave of Holy Name High School. CVCA started slow and trailed 3-2 with just under a minute left in the first half. Then, in a matter of 11 seconds, the game changed.

Ryan O'Connor, and the Royals grabbed a 4-3 lead. They held that advantage into half-time. After the break, CVCA completely dominated the 3rd quarter. The Royals held Holy Name scoreless in the third and found the net 6 times to lead 10-3 entering the final quarter. CVCA would go on to win their opener 12-6.
