The CVCA boys lacrosse team traveled to Hoban on Thursday night. The Royals and Knights combined for 33 goals in a game that saw snow, a big comeback, and a late game winning goal. CVCA fell behind early trailing 8-2 at the end of the 1st quarter. Hoban was able to extend their lead to 8 in the 2nd quarter and led 11-5 at the half. The Royals were far from finished and would battle all the way back to tie the score.

Mitch Gilley for a goal with 5:27 left in the game that tied the score at 16-16. The final minutes were filled with intensity. The host Knights were able to find the back of the net with just 25 seconds remaining and earned a 17-16 win. CVCA will return to action on Saturday when they host Kent Roosevelt.
