The CVCA Boys Lacrosse picked up a huge win over Wooster in the Regional Quarterfinals on Friday night. The Royals were bounced from the tournament by the Generals in 2016, and were determined to return the favor in 2017. CVCA was very impressive in the first half. Their all around solid play gave them an 11-5 lead at halftime. Wooster would score the first 2 goals of the second half to cut the Royals' lead to just 4 with nine minutes left in the 3rd quarter. From that point on, it was all CVCA. The Royals scored the final 9 goals of the game to earn a 20-7 win and advance to the Regional Semi-finals. CVCA will host Bowling Green on Tuesday, May 23rd. The winner will play in the Regional Final on Saturday, May 27th.
