The CVCA Boys Lacrosse added another postseason win to their impressive 2017 season on Tuesday night. The Royals hosted Bowling Green in the Division II Region 5 semi-finals. The game started slow as both teams were trying to feel each other out. CVCA held a 3-1 after the 1st quarter. They extended their lead to 8-2 entering half-time and controlled possession for most of the quarter. In the third quarter, the Royals completely dominated the Bobcats and scored 9 goals while allowing just 1. Both teams scored once in the final quarter for a final score of 18-4 in favor of CVCA. The win is the 15th in a row for CVCA. With the win, the CVCA advances to the Regional Finals. CVCA will face Toledo's St. Francis de Sales on Friday, May 26th at 6:30pm. The game will be played at Sports Force Park in Sandusky, Ohio.
