CVCA and Hawken met in girls tennis on Tuesday. The Royals and Hawks played indoors at Towpath Tennis Center to avoid the rain. Early on the teams were tied 1-1 with CVCA winning 2nd singles, but dropping 2nd doubles. The final three matches all went to the deciding third set. Hawken picked up wins in all 3 for the 4-1 overall team win. After the match, Coach Ramey said, "We will try to work on being bold and aggressive in the big moments to make those final sets go in our favor." The girls will host Hathaway Brown on Wednesday, August 23rd.
