CVCA introduces Nick Thompson as Head Coach [Boys Soccer]

Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy is pleased to introduce Nick Thompson as Head Boys Soccer Coach. Coach Thompson continues a line of alumni coaches as a 2007 graduate of CVCA himself. He has been coaching at the collegiate level since 2011 with experience in Division I, II, & III and is currently an Assistant Coach at the University of New Hampshire (NCAA DI). Coach Thompson's coaching experience was preceded by a decorated playing career. He earned All-American honors in both high school and college, won 3 national championships at Messiah College, and played professionally in the NASL and USL. In addition, his familiarity and commitment to the mission of CVCA Athletics make him an exciting addition.

"I am really excited and honored to be coming back to CVCA and taking over the boys' soccer program. CVCA made a huge impact on my life during my time there as a student, so to be coming back and leading the boys' soccer program is really special. I want to thank Jon Young and all those involved for their work and conversations throughout this process. CVCA is a place that foundationally values growth and development in all areas of life, which is a big reason why I wanted to come back. I am very grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this community again, and for the chance to lead a program that values meaningful relationships that will have life changing impact for all of those involved."
