The CVCA girls basketball team hosted Buchtel on Saturday in OHSAA Tournament action. The Royals were locked in from the start and played extremely hard. In a flash, they jumped ahead to a 24-0 lead. From there, CVCA cruised to a 55-16 win over the visiting Griffins. The win advances the girls to district play. They will face Norton on Wednesday night in the district semifinal. That game will be played at 6pm at Streetsboro High School.
