The CVCA boys soccer team hosted Columbus Academy on Saturday evening. It was the first game of the year for the Royals as they looked to start things off with a win. CVCA jumped ahead 3-0 in the game, but the Vikings fought back. The score stood at 3-2 part way through the 2nd half when inclement weather moved in. The teams tried to wait it out but eventually had to call the game short. CVCA receives the 3-2 win to start the year off 1-0. They will travel to Poland Seminary on Tuesday night.
