The CVCA girls basketball team made the long trip down to Triway on Wednesday night. The Royals started fast and opened the game on 15-0 run. After the game's opening minutes, Triway was able to turn up the defensive pressure and cause lots of problems for the Royals. Turnovers proved to be the difference in this game as CVCA fell by a score of 53-46. It was the girls first conference loss of the season. They now sit at 8-2 overall and 7-1 in conference play. They will travel to Kenston on Saturday.
