The CVCA girls soccer team faced off against Bay on Saturday in the District Championship game. The Royals and Rockets met at Nordonia High School for their Division III match-up. CVCA was looking to continue their strong season by knocking off one of the top teams in the area. It was a tight battle from start to finish. Bay was able to score on a long shot from the left side to take a 1-0 lead in the first half. The Royals fought hard but were unable to create a goal on offense. They held Bay to just the one goal, but fell by a score of 1-0. They finish the season as District Runners-Up with a record of 12-5-3. This was their best season since 2017.
