The CVCA girls soccer team hosted Beaumont on Wednesday night. It was an intense battle between two very strong teams. CVCA scored in the first minute of play to lead 1-0. They extended their lead to 2-0 but Beaumont scored to make it 2-1 at halftime. The Royals tried to hold on to the lead but the visiting Blue Streaks score with just over 10 minutes to play to tie things up. Both teams pushed to break the tie, but the game ended with a score of 2-2. CVCA will be back in action on Monday night against Marlington for Senior Night.
