The CVCA girls basketball team hosted Ellet on Wednesday night. The Royals used tough play and solid defense to defeat the previously unbeaten Orange. CVCA was to outscored Ellet by 12 points in the first and third quarters of play and that proved to be the difference. Ellet made a late run, but CVCA made their free throws down the stretch to secure a 51-39 win. The girls are now 4-3 on the season. They will host Padua on Friday night at 5:30pm.
