The CVCA girls basketball team hosted Canton McKinley on Wednesday night. The Royals pulled away from the Bulldogs after trailing early one. A three point deficit at the end of the first quarter became a two point advantage at halftime. CVCA outscored McKinley 36-22 in the second half of play to secure a 58-42 win. The Royals are now 1-1 on the season. Senior Joi Williams led all scores with 31 points.
