The CVCA boys lacrosse team was looking to stay unbeaten when they hosted Chagrin Falls on Tuesday night. The Royals did just that in exciting fashion. The resilient Royals fought hard to over come a 9-4 halftime deficit. The defense allowed just 2 second half goals, while the offense scored 8 times including a goal with 38 seconds left to force over time. Senior
Tyler Young scored on a no-look shovel shot to secure the victory for CVCA. The boys moved to 9-0 on the season with a 13-12 overtime victory over the Tigers. It was the 2nd overtime win for CVCA in the last three games. The Royals also improved to 2-0 in Forest City Lacrosse League play with the win. CVCA's offense continues to lead the way as they are averaging just shy of 13 goals per game this season. The boys will host Copley on Friday night.
