The CVCA girls soccer team opened the 2024 season at home on Monday night. The Royals hosted Copley on this unusually cool August evening. CVCA was able to score first to grab a 1-0 lead. Copley answered with 2 goals of their own to move in front. The visiting Indians were able to hold on for the 2-1 win. The Royals will shift their focus to an away game at Gilmour Academy on Wednesday night.
