The CVCA girls basketball team hosted Holy Name on Wednesday night in conference play. The Royals and Green Wave were locked in a battle for most of the night. CVCA was able to finish strong and secure a 61-50 home win. Senior Joi Williams led all scorers with 31 points. It is the 6th straight win for the girls as they improve their overall record to 12-5. The Royals now sit at 9-1 in NCC play this season with two conference games left. They will travel to Padua for a big test this Saturday.
