The CVCA girls basketball team hosted Lake Catholic of Friday night. The Royals' impressive defense was on full display on this night. They held the visiting Cougars to just 28 points on less than 30% shooting. CVCA was able to make some early three pointers and really pulled away in the 4th quarter for a 42-28 win. The girls are now 7-5 overall and 4-1 in North Coast Conference play. They will travel to NDCL on Friday night.
