The CVCA volleyball team hosted Boardman on Thursday night in the final game of the regular season. The Royals and Spartans were looking for a strong tune-up before the postseason and got one in a five set battle. CVCA was able to go up 2-0 but Boardman battled back. The final two sets could have gone either way, but the visiting Spartans came out on top. The 3-2 loss drops CVCA to 8-14 on the season. The Royals will now shift their focus to the OHSAA Tournament. The girls will open postseason play on Thursday, October 16th. They will face Louisville at 5:00pm at Boardman High School. More tournament information can be found HERE.
