On Saturday, the North Coast Conference held their 2025 Championship races at Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin in Chardon. The Royals claimed the team titles in both boys and girls for the second consecutive year. The girls team was led by sophomore
Logan Romanini who finished in first place in the girls race and was named NCC MVP. She set a new course record with her time of 19:16.02. The boys were led by senior
Robbie Akins, sophomore
Zac Andamasaris, and junior
Isaac Solomon who finished 2nd, 3rd, and 4th respectively. Coach

George Hallis were each named NCC Coach of the Year this season. CVCA now shifts their focus to the OHSAA District Tournament. They will race on Saturday at Lorain County Community College.
