The CVCA girls basketball team hosted Padua on Monday night. The Royals were in for a tough test as the Bruins are off to a hot start this year. Padua's defense created lots of problems for the CVCA offense. The visitors were able to open a big lead in the first half and pull away in the second half. The Royals (1-6, 1-2) will return to action on Saturday when they travel across the street to face Walsh Jesuit.
