The CVCA girls basketball team traveled to Youngstown on Monday night for their 2025-2026 season opener. The Royals faced off against Boardman in non-conference action. The girls battled hard and took a seven point lead into halftime. The host Spartans responded with a strong 3rd quarter to move in front. Boardman made their 4th quarter free throws to keep the Royals hopes of a comeback at bay. CVCA fell by a score of 55-48.
