The CVCA girls basketball team hosted Louisville on Wednesday night. It was the home opener for the Royals as they looked to defeat the Leopards. This game was a tale of two halves. Louisville controlled the first half of play and built a 20-5 lead at the end of the 2nd quarter. The Royals never backed down and put together a strong second half. They were able to pull even with Louisville late in the 4th quarter. With less than one minute left, the Leopards knocked down two free throws to secure a 33-31 victory. The Royals will return to action on Monday at Solon.
