The CVCA girls basketball team opened OHSAA Tournament play at home on Saturday night. The Royals hosted the Midview Middies in a Sectional Final contest. CVCA was able grab control of the game early. The girls would go on to win by a score of 68-39. Senior Joi Williams scored 35 points to lead all scorers. With the win, the Royals advance to the district semifinal. CVCA will host Tallmadge on Wednesday, February 19th at 7:00pm.
