The CVCA girls basketball team faced off against Brush on Thursday night. The Royals and Arcs met in the Regional Semifinal at the Canton Memorial Field House. CVCA knew they were in for a challenge as Brush entered the game on a 20 game winning streak. The Royals battled hard and the game was tied at the end of one. Brush was able to open up a lead in the 2nd quarter with CVCA in some foul trouble. CVCA trailed by just two scores late in the 3rd quarter of play. The Arcs finished the quarter strong and pulled away in the 4th quarter for a 54-33 win. The Royals end the year as conference champions, district champions.
