The CVCA girls lacrosse team hosted Laurel on Monday night in the final game of the 2025 regular season. The Royals picked up a big 14-1 win over the Gators to improved to 6-8-1 on the season. Seniors Ellia Crecco and Sam Anderson both scored 4 goals in the contest while two other seniors scored goals as well - Gabby Wilcox and Renee Allen. Greta Bigham recorded 5 draw controls and put in 3 goals as well. A first time varsity goal was scored by freshman Jules Truax in a caused turnover with a coast to coast run ending in a point. Senior CVCA goalie Rachel Weygandt had 10 saves. The Royals will now shift their focus to the OHSAA Tournament. They will host Holy Name on Friday, May 16th at 7:00pm.
