The North Coast Conference announced on Wednesday the addition of Lutheran West into the conference starting with the '27-'28 school year. The Longhorns will complete their commitment to the Chagrin Valley Conference over the next two school years before joining the North Coast Conference for all sports starting with the fall of 2027. 

"We are excited to invite Lutheran West into the North Coast Conference and add another school that shares the vision of interscholastic competition with the other conference schools," says NCC Commissioner and Padua Athletic Director Kevin Leigh. 

Lutheran West Athletic Director Josh Malave added, "The move to the North Coast Conference is an exciting opportunity to partner with schools that have strong traditions of academic and athletic success. We are excited to join a community that is mission-aligned in the advancement of Christ-centered athletic programs."

With the addition of Lutheran West, the North Coast Conference will have eight schools competing in both boys and girls sports starting in the fall of 2027.
