The CVCA boys soccer team traveled to Padua on Tuesday night for a conference matchup with the Bruins. The Royals were looking to extend their three game win streak in this one, while Padua was looking to bounce back after a loss on Saturday. It was a battle from start to finish as both sides looked to gain an advantage. Padua held a 1-0 lead late into the game before CVCA was able to find the equalizer. Alex Ott headed the ball home off a corner kick late in the second half. The Royals and Bruins would go on to tie 1-1. CVCA is now 5-2-1 on the season and 1-1-1 in conference play. They are set to host Woodridge on Thursday night.
