The CVCA girls soccer team hosted Notre Dame Cathedral Latin on Wednesday night. The Royals were looking to stay atop the North Coast Conference standings with a win. Jules Truax beat one defender to a ball played into the box. She play the ball pasted a second defender and buried her shot past the NDCL goalkeeper. The girls were able to run out the final minutes of the game and secure the 1-0 victory. With the win, CVCA is now 4-0 in NCC play and 5-3-2 overall. They will face a tough Highland team on Monday night before hosting Elyria Catholic on Wednesday.
