The CVCA girls soccer team hosted Elyria Catholic on Wednesday night in a key North Coast Conference game. The Royals were looking to stay on top of the NCC standings with a win. An early goal by
Jules Truax put CVCA in front. They added on with a PK goal by
Chloe Kroslak in the final minute of the half. The second half went by without a goal despite CVCA creating chances. The Royals secured the 2-0 win to improve their record to 6-4-2 and stay unbeaten in NCC play at 5-0. The Royals will host Stow on Saturday. Their next NCC contest will be at Beaumont on October 1st.
