The CVCA boys soccer team hosted Tallmadge on Saturday. The Royals started slow but were able to take a 1-0 lead into halftime. A quick goal to start the second half opened the flood gates for the CVCA offense. The Royals would record seven goals in the 2nd half of play to cruise past the Blue Devils. The defense again stood tall and recorded their 5th consecutive shutout and 8th of the season. CVCA is now 9-2-2 on the season. The Royals have won 7 of their last 9 games and have outscored their opponents 31-1 in that stretch. They will host Austintown-Fitch on Tuesday night.
