The CVCA volleyball team hosted Elyria Catholic on Tuesday in NCC play. The Royals were looking for an upset while the visiting Panthers were looking to stay in the race for the top of the NCC standings. Elyria Catholic started fast and took the first two sets. CVCA didn't go down with out a fight as they battle hard in a tight 3rd set. The girls came up just short in that set and fell by a score of 3-0. They will be back in action on Thursday when they travel to Beaumont.
