This week, junior Lucy Chaisson will compete at the 2026 OHSAA Swimming State Championships. She will compete in the 50 free and 100 free at the Division II level. The State Meet will be held at C.T. Branin Natatorium in Canton, Ohio. Division II Swimming Prelims will be held on Thursday night with the finals scheduled for Friday. Additional information can be found below.

Lucy Chaisson is only the second female individual state qualifier for CVCA (1st since 2011)
She broke the school record in the 50 free with a time of 24.81 at the District Tournament. The record was previously held by current CVCA Coach Kelly Suplit.
