The varsity girls basketball team started their 2015-16 season with a 38-37 home victory over Akron Buchtel on Saturday, November 21st. The game was a battle throughout and the Royals held on for the win. The girls had balanced scoring with 5 players scoring 6 or more points of the home team. They were led by Junior
Anna Mitchell with 11 points and Junior
Jada Wright with 8 points. Senior
Rachel Radcliff pulled down a game high 12 rebounds. The visiting Griffins were led by D. Hatcher's 11 points.
The girls will travel to Marlington on Wednesday, November 25th for another non-league matchup. JV at 6pm, Varsity at 7:30pm.
