Hockey adds win over Mayfield

Royals defeat Mayfield 9-3

The Royals came out strong and never looked back rolling to a 9-3 win over Mayfield tonight at Gilmour Academy. Royals lead 4-0 after the first period and continued to apply pressure going into the second intermission with an 8-2 advantage. Cruising to a 9-3 victory. Senior captain Josh Polanski lead all scorers with 5 goals and 1 assist. Freshman Christian Beckett chipped in with 2 goals and 1 assist, junior defensemen Hayden Dickerson had 1 goal and 3 assists and junior Ryan Baxter added an assist. Tim Foster (pictured) scored his 1st career goal and added 1 assist. Tim was chosen as the Royals of Game and was awarded The Crown. The Royals take to the ice tomorrow at 3pm at the Kent State Ice Arena as they face off against West Geauga High School.
