Peninsula, OH - The Royals of CVCA and the Bulldogs of Woodridge High School faced off on Wednesday, December 23rd in what a become a yearly battle between neighboring rivals.  On this night the Royals made the short bus ride across town and came away with a 41-24 win. The Royals led early and did not look back and headed into halftime with a 7 point lead. Defense was key for the Royals in this context holding the Bulldogs to 5 points in each of the final two quarters. Ryan Foguth led the scorers with 13 points. Steven Taylor and Nate Peters chipped in 9 and 8 points respectively.

The boys will back in action on Tuesday, December 29th as they host Tusky Valley.  That game will be Alumni Night in addtion to the induction ceremony for the Hall of Fame Class of 2015.
