The Royals dropped their league opener tonight at the Mentor Civic Center against Notre Dame Cathedral Latin by a score of 5-2. The Royals outshot the Lions on the night in an excellent team effort.
The Royals and the Lions were tied at 2-2 after the 1st period on two goals by senior captain
Josh Polanski but the Lions scored 3 unanswered goals in the 2nd period and that was the difference. The Royals defensive corp of juniors

Zach Miller was named Royal of The Game and was awarded The Crown. The Royals are back on the road tomorrow for a noon game against Canfield at the Ice Zone in Boardman.
