It was a rough afternoon for the Royals as they fell by a score of 7-0 to the Canfield Cardinals at the Ice Zone in Boardman.  The Cardinals came out strong with a 4 goal 1st period.  The Royals stepped up their game in second period giving up a single goal but couldn't manage to get one past the Canfield goaltender.  The Cardinals struck for 2 more goals in the third period.  The Royals outshot Cardinals 29-20 but didn't get many quality chances and they couldn't solve the Cardinal netminder.  Forward John Rybka (pictured) was named the Royal of The Game and was awarded The Crown. The Royals will have to bounce back as they head to The Pond in Aurora on Friday December 11th to take on Aurora High School.  The puck drops at 5pm.
