Cuyahoga Falls, OH - The boys basketball team leaned on hot starts in the 1st and 3rd quarters as well as solid free throwing shooting late in order to gain a 62-48 win over Triway. CVCA jumped out to a 19-6 lead following the 1st quarter and never looked back. They opened the second half with another mini run that help propel them to victory. Late in the game, Triway sent the Royals to the free throw line hoping for some missed shots and a way back into the game. The shooters for the home team calmly knocked down their shots and never let the Titans back into the game.

Nate Peters led all scorers with 23 points. Juniors
Steven Taylor and
Ryan Foguth added 17 and 14 points respectively. Triway got 20 points from Walker.
CVCA hosts Gilmour Academy for a triple-header on Tuesday, January 26th. 9th Grade at 4:30pm, JV at 6pm, Varsity at 7:30pm.
