The Royals traveled to Garfield Heights to take on the Twinsburg Tigers tonight in a Blue North Division tilt.  The Royals came out on top in a seesaw battle against the tenacious Tigers by a score of 6-4.  The Tigers struck first to take a 1-0 lead late in the period but with time running out and the Royals on the penalty kill senior captain Josh Polanski won a battle along the boards broke free and scored to tie the game with just 5 seconds left in the first period to send the teams into the 1st intermission locked at 1-1.  The second period was also a back and forth affair with the Royals scoring to take the lead and the Tigers answering to tie the game.  The Royals would score again and the Tigers once again answered to tie and send the game into the 3rd period at 3-3.  The Royals stepped up their game in the 3rd period and closed out the Tigers by a score of 6-4.  Josh Polanski lead the way for the Royals with 4 goals and 2 assists.  Hayden Dickerson (pictured) played an outstanding game with 1 goal and 2 assists and was selected as The Royal of Game.  Matt Greenwood picked up a goal and Christian Beckett picked up 2 assists.  Tim Foster and John Rybka each picked up an assist.  Goaltender Brooks Montgomery was outstanding in net stopping 23 of 27 shots.  The Royals play their third game in as many days as they take to the ice tomorrow at 4:10pm at The Kent State Ice Arena as they take on the Normandy Invaders.
