Hockey stops Invaders

Royals defeat Normandy 4-1

The CVCA Royals defeated the Normandy Invaders tonight at the Kent State Ice Arena by a score of 4-1. It was the third win in as many nights. The Royals dominated play for nearly the entire game but the stellar play of the Normandy goaltender kept the score close. Senior Josh Polanski had 3 goals and an assist and senior assistant captain Matt Greenwood chipped in with a goal. Hayden Dickerson picked up an assist. Junior goaltender Brooks Montgomery (pictured) continued his strong play stopping 10 of 11 shots and was named The Royal of The Game.

The Royals return to action on Friday, January 29th vs West Geauga. That game will be played at Gilmour Academy at 7:50pm.
