CVCA hockey had a late game on Tuesday night. The puck dropped at 8:35 for the Royals matchup with the Shoremen of Avon Lake. Avon Lake would start fast with 4 goals in the first period. They increased their lead to 5-0 with 1 goal in the second period.
Hayden Dickerson scored for the Royals, but it would be their only goal on the night. CVCA would fall by a score of 6-1. The Royals are still working to find the back of the net on a consistent basis. Avon Lake's depth proved difficult to handle. The team is looking forward to their next game before traveling to Canada next week.
